With tons of different panel profiles available to choose from, it can sometimes be tricky to know which one is best for your project. There are quite a few factors that affect which panel will work best. However, some metal panel profiles are more popular than others. If you’ve ever been curious about Bridger Steel’s most popular and best-selling panel profiles, we’re here to share them with you and tell you why they hold their spot!

#1 Tuff Rib

Popular and affordable, it’s no surprise that Tuff Rib is our number one best selling panel. Considered to be a “jack of all trades” panel, there is no project Tuff Rib isn’t ideal for. From residential roofing to commercial siding, these panels are incredibly durable and built to last. Originally designed to work hard in agricultural settings, Tuff Rib quickly made its way into all other types of markets because of its versatility.

With exposed fasteners and plenty of finishes to choose from, this panel looks great regardless of application. We’ve seen it installed horizontally for wainscoting, as well as used traditionally for a sleek looking roof. No matter your location, this panel is built to last with its stellar ratings for high impact, high wind, and high snow volume environments.

Here's a few of our favorite projects that used Tuff Rib panels:

#2 7/8" Corrugated

Our most structurally strong and durable panel available, Bridger Steel’s ⅞” Corrugated metal panels are another extremely popular product for all types of projects. With the classic, wavy look of corrugated metal, these panels are chosen for their visual appeal, too. Whether you’re installing these panels for roofing, siding, or interior applications, they will last for decades to come and look amazing while doing it.

The ⅞” Corrugated metal panel also features an anti-siphon groove, which makes them exceptional for protection against all types of weather. They feature our custom anti-siphon trough with a five degree overbend on overlap as well, taking their ability to stand up to harsh conditions another level up. This panel is a great choice for high impact environments, as well as high wind and high snow volume areas. They can also be radiused in order to create stunning arcs, curves, and waves for a unique architectural design. No wonder this product is our second best-seller!

#3 Ultra Batten

The look of board-and-batten meets the strength of steel for our next best-selling panel. Ultra Batten panels have a bold rib design that mimic that classic look without the need to ever repaint! These panels are able to be used in a variety of applications, including wall, siding, and interior projects. Available in both flat and striated options, these panels are built to last and look stunning while doing it.

We’ve seen Ultra Batten panels be used in some unique ways in order to create modern designs. Some have run them horizontally for long, sleek lines, and others have run them vertically to create a more rustic look. The diversity of these panels, along with their incredible durability and multiple color options, make them a favorite for all types of homeowners.

#4 1/4" Corrugated

The low profile of our ¼” Corrugated metal panels makes them our best-selling product for interior projects. These panels balance subtlety and contrast in the most perfect way. We’ve seen ¼” Corrugated panels be used on tons of different applications — from shed roofs to interior fireplaces. These panels have incredible adaptability that make them a favorite.

With an exposed fastener system and traditional look, they are a classic go-to for commercial, residential, and even agricultural applications. These panels won’t overpower a room, but can also help you make a statement, especially when you pair them with a stunning color or finish. Use them as wainscots or backsplashes. No matter what type of creative way you want to use ¼” Corrugated panels, the subtle rib height makes them one of our more easy-to-install options.

#5 1" Nail Strip

A great choice for virtually any application, our 1” Nail Strip panels are our fifth most popular and best selling product — and for good reason! These Standing Seam metal panels are a great choice for roofing and siding projects. Their installation is a bit easier compared to other concealed fastener panels, making them popular among DIYers. These panels are durable yet subtle, and are available in two different rib heights.

The long, clean lines provide a modern design and they’re available in a wide variety of colors and finishes. What sets Nail Strip panels apart from other Standing Seam panels is that the male leg of Nail Strip panels have a perforated nail flange used to fasten them directly to the decking. This makes installation more straightforward. Nail Strip is a great choice for those looking for a more affordable metal panel option as well.
