A606 Truten™ is coated with our trademarked blend of copper, phosphorus and silicon to form a fine textured oxide surface film on the panel. When exposed to the elements the top layer will eventually weather into a unique rust color. A606 Truten™ has a dark gray appearance in the shop and comes coated in a light oil to prevent premature rusting. Once the oil coating rinses off, your roof will begin to rust naturally.

We always recommend obtaining physical samples of our colors as different printing variations and display settings can alter the true color. This 12” x 12” sample will help ensure you are ordering the correct color for your project.

 

***NOTE: Sample will arrive pre-weathered with original Gray finish!

    Great fun to experiment with rusting process. I used hydrogen peroxide, white vinegar and salt; rusted immediately. My client will look at it in a couple days. I hope to use this material in 1/4" corrugated shape for wainscot at a long curved bar and a small powder room.. This sample will seal the deal.
